Job Title: Business Analyst
Reporting to a Project Consultant, the Analyst performs assignments involving concepts of Supply Chain Strategy, Optimization of Logistical Systems, and Infrastructure Planning. The successful candidate will assist in preparation and presentation of proposals, gather and analyze facts, help develop recommendations, and prepare reports. Common responsibilities include strategic operations analysis, identifying performance trends, scanning business/industry trends, reviewing sales/financial analyses and interpreting data.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in supply chain management and infrastructure planning assignments
* Assist in projects for design and delivery of optimized Logistics and Supply Chain systems and networks involving warehousing, transport, network design, systems, processes etc
* Assist in projects for planning, design and development of infrastructure involving Logistics Parks, Food Parks, SEZ, Railways, Cargo Terminals, Ports and Airports.
* Infrastructure (Logistics Parks, ICD, SEZ, FTWZ, Cold Stores, Food Processing Zones, Food Parks, Ports) Feasibility studies
* Multimodal Traffic Analysis and assessment
* Transport and Freight Logistics study
* Formulate product and strategy recommendations for senior management team based on in-depth market analysis. Acquire and utilize an in-depth knowledge about all the vendors, their strengths & weaknesses, pricing and performance.
* Prepares reports and profiles including background information, advisory relationships and market intelligence utilizing internal and external data sources.
* Performs client analysis by office and practice area. Create PowerPoint and other presentation materials.
* Ability to interact with internal and external clients at a variety of levels and across functions.

Education Requirements
* Bachelors Degree in Engineering/Finance/Business
* MBA Operations/Supply Chain (preferred)
* Any relevant industry specific certifications/memberships (desirable)
* IT Skills-MS Office, MS Excel based financial tools
Experience Requirements
* 1-3 years of prior experience of supply chain/infrastructure (Logistics Parks, ICD, SEZ, FTWZ, Cold Stores, Food Processing Zones, Food Parks, and Ports) consulting a plus.
* Exposure to business financials a plus.
